How does Edudate work?

Terms and Conditions

1. Submit the free or priority sign up form.

2. We will do a special search for you when you sign up and you may receive some date requests from verified edudate members via whatsapp. Priority members will continue to receive these ongoing.

3. If interested, you can set up a video date with the person.

Date Rules:

Do not give out your name (unless you want to) – address each other by your unique code “eg. Hello H23”

Do not arrange or imply you would like to arrange a second date

Time limit – 20 minutes (unless face to face) - One or both of you need to time the date during the video call and be quite strict about it. At the end of the 20 minutes, hang up, even if you don’t want to!

Very important - No contact after your date at all - again, if anyone breaks this rule, please block and report to us with a screenshot!

4. By 12 midnight on date day, after you have completed your date, let us know if it was a match or not by submitting the form here.

5. We will email you both if it's a match.

If it doesn't work out and you don't match, fear not, you can join Edudate priority for just £6 a month to get more dates and guarenteed access to Edudate Speed Dating events!

These happen every 2-3 months.

Priority members are invited to take part in every online speed dating event. Free sign ups may also be invited to take part if successful in the lottery.

How does it work?

There are 10+ speed dating "groups" containing members from your broad region/age range. You meet each one of them for a 10 minute online date (either via video or text based on your preferences). At the end of the 2/3 day event, you submit your matches to see if you have matched with anyone!

When you sign up to Edudate, you agree to our terms and conditions here. Please read carefully.
