How does Edudate work?
Terms and Conditions
1. Submit the free or priority sign up form on the homepage.
3. Download the searchable database. Identify some daters you would like to have a date with and submit some date requests. The four digit unique code on the left hand side of the database is that persons code, eg. 1001.
4. After you have made your date requests, we will forward the request onto that member directly. It's at this point your SKYPE ID or phone number will be shared with them and then they have the choice whether to contact you.
You will "add" your date on SKYPE (or on whatsapp if their SKYPE ID isn't provided). At the assigned time, you will call your date.
Do not give out your name (unless you want to) – address each other by your unique code “eg. Hello H23”
Do not arrange or imply you would like to arrange a second date
Time limit – 20 minutes (unless face to face) - One or both of you need to time the date during the video call and be quite strict about it. At the end of the 20 minutes, hang up, even if you don’t want to!
Very important - No contact after your date at all - again, if anyone breaks this rule, please block and report to us with a screenshot!
6. By 12 midnight on date day, after you have completed your date, let us know if it was a match or not by submitting the form here.
7. We will email you both if it's a match.
If it doesn't work out and you don't match, fear not, you can join Edudate priority for just £6 a month to get more dates!
When you sign up to Edudate, you agree to our terms and conditions here. Please read carefully.
Terms and Conditions:
Your SKYPE ID may be shared with a prospective match. If your SKYPE ID is invalid or your date is struggling to contact you, we may then share your phone number. If only one party has a SKYPE ID, then a phone number may also be shared.
If a successful match is made, we will email you both mutually to confirm the match. If no match is made, we will also let you know individually.
